Work catalog of Chausson



This catalog of the Chausson works has been established to act as instrument of work. He understands all published works therefore or stayed unpublished, led to term by the composer. One will find, in the order:
- the number of opus when the musician gave one of it (in the contrary case, the mention, SN x) ;
- the title of the work or, when it is about a compilation (of melodies for example), the title of each among them.

SN 15 Esmeralda, according to Victor Hugo (IV act, sc. 1). Exist in 4 manuscripts dated from April 2, 1880 to December 4.
SN 16 Hymne a la Nature, choir to 4 voices with accompaniment of orchestra. Poem of Armand Silvestre.
SN 17 Andante et Allegro, for clarinet with accompaniment of piano.
SN 18 L'Arabe, choir for voice of men with solo of tenor (trial contest for the price of Rome).

Orchestrated in a version for tenor October 20, 1887 in Paris (2 flutes, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, kettledrum, strings - of which 4 bass ).
