Albéric Magnard : an unknown composer



Albéric Magnard(1865-1914) is died in World War I, because he fight to germany army and he was flamed by the army. Magnard is one of frankiste composers. He learned to d'Indy and he composed several chamber musics and 4 Symphonies, The air of his composition is classical and very strict and his compositions are remained only about 20, therefore his name is not famous at all.
In autumn of 1999, at first, I listened Magnard's piano trio in Kyoto. Then I have interest about his works.
